Pearls are a product of salt and fresh water oyster. Unlike gemstones born from the earth millions of years ago, pearls are replenished constantly. Due to Earthly changes, pearls change too. Some could say that pearls are an indicator of environmental changes.
Akoya Pearls
Wearing a strand of fine quality pearls is like wearing a cord made of the finest silk around your neck , with the smoothness of newborn skin. No other gem emits this texture or feeling.
Eyris Pearls
Unlike any other pearl, and native to New Zealand, Eyris pearls are extremely rare. Eyris Pearls can only be gathered by free – diving in often adverse weather conditions. Taking up to three years to culture each pearl, only 25% of the pearls are saleable. Eyris pearls present a “liquid” appearance of blue, green, violet and pink hues. No two pearls are alike.
